Ambositra is the centre of the Malagasy wood-carving production based on old tradition of the Zafimaniry tribe. The former French colonial city most prominent feature may be the remains of the Queen's Palace (Rova), located on a hill. Day 4: Ranomafana
Day 5: Ranomafana - Ambalavao
Ambalavao is the origin of the Antaimoro paper and also an important expanse of vineyard from which the local wine became famous. Visit of the community reserve “ANJA” for a first contact with the famous Lemurs catta or Makis of Madagascar.
